Amália Secreta, volume 3 da nova série “Primeiras Gravações” da colecção “Arquivos do Fado”, faz-nos viajar uma vez mais no tempo. Como soava o Fado, no início da gravação comercial? Que canções marcavam a moda? Que ideias veiculavam os seus textos? Que estilo musical adoptavam os fadistas? E os músicos? Estas e outras questões encontrarão resposta na audição que as reedições agora devidamente recuperadas nos proporcionam. Finalmente podemos saber como soavam no início e reflectir sobre o desenvolvimento musical das grandes vozes do Fado do século XX em Portugal. Eis a principal missão desta nova fabulosa série discográfica.
Acresce ainda dizer-se que alguns dos fados constantes deste trabalho, são agora, pela primeira vez, editados em CD.

Amália Secreta, volume 3 of the new series “First Recordings” of the collection “Arquivos do Fado” allow us to travel in time again. How did Fado sound like, when these great singers initiated their recording carreers? What songs were the hits of the time? What ideas did their texts report? What musical style did the singers adopt? And the musicians? These and other questions will find answers in the audition of the renewed editions now offered. We will finally be able to know how did the voices sound at the beginning and to compare the musical development of the great Fado voices of the 20th century in Portugal. These are really the main aims of this historical new record series now presented.
It still adds to say that some of the “fados” on this work, are now, for the first time, published in CD.
