Este livro(…), mais que um apanhado de partituras de belos fados, é um importante legado de Carlos do Carmo que, com a sua inquietude, abriu as portas do fado para diferentes gerações de músicos(…), cantores, compositores, cineastas, poetas, actores, pensadores, pintores,(…) intelectuais de todas as tendências. E de uma forma criativa e apaixonada. Convidou a todos, e até ao sol, para dar mais luz a todas essas melodias e poesias, nas mais diferentes formas de se fazer (e cantar) o fado.
