Flor de Sal é o creme do Atlântico cristalizado em salinas de Argila, situadas no Parque Natural de Ria Formosa, no Algarve e utilizando os recursos naturais que são o mar, a energia Solar e eólica. A Flor de Sal, é o resultado do trabalho destes elementos da natureza que, em conjunto, proporcionam uma fina película de cristais que flutuam no leito rosado dos talhos de onde são retirados diariamente (por vezes duas vezes ao dia), com utensílios próprios. Depois da recolha, são depositados em caixas perfuradas pera secar e seguidamente armazenados. Posteriormente, a Flor de Sal é embalada sem sofrer qualquer tipo de transformação de modo a que se obtenha um produto 100% natural.
Este Sal de Tavira, atendendo à situação geográfica desta salina e à entrada directa de água do Atlântico, a 500 metros, é, comprovável pelas análises ao produto final, produzido numa área completamente livre de poluição.

Flower of Salt is the cream of Atlantic crystalized in the hard clay salt beds located in the Nature Park of Ria Formosa – Algarve – using the natural resources from the sea and the energy from the sun and the wind. The Flower of Salt is the result of nature’s work which combines a cluster of crystals which float on the layers and where they ara collected daily (and up to twice a day) with special tools.
After collected it goes to perfured boxes to drop and dry, and then to storage. After it, is collecetd and boxed for the consumer without any way changing its content, the consumer obtains a product 100% natural.
This Tavira salt is produced from the wathers of the Atlantic and enters the pans directly through 500m of the marine nature reserve the Ria Formosa which is widely known to be pollution free
