Dazkarieh é som do passado, pelos instrumentos antigos e acústicos e é som do presente que se ecoa quando se transforma em distorção pura. É tradição portuguesa, mas também tradição dos nossos dias que provoca uma explosão sonora, ainda que plena de intimismo.
A banda nasceu em Lisboa, em 1999, partindo da ideia de criar música tendo como inspiração várias culturas do mundo. Cedo cresceram, tornando-se num dos mais activos e originais projectos da música portuguesa.
DAZKARIEH I foi o seu primeiro álbum, editado em 2002 e reeditado em 2007.
Dazkarieh it's the sound of the past, though old acoustic instruments and the sound of the present that echoes when it becomes pure distortion. It's the Portuguese tradition but also current day tradition that cause a sound explosion although imbued with an intimate tone.
Founded in Lisbon in 1999 the band started from the idea of making music with inspiration in the world cultures. Soon they grew and became in one of the most original and active projects in the portuguese music scene.
Their first album "DAZKARIEH I", was released in 2002 by the band itself and soon sold out, until its reedition in 2007.
